I’d like to mention that I find one of the biggest drawbacks of WP themes and plugins is that you can’t really tell what you’ll have til you install it and use it. While many open source options don’t cost any money they often aren’t free. Spending time to do evaluations to compile details that should be in the product “fact sheet” takes time. Time is money. No cost != free.
